DGP felicitates Ms Kouser Mushtaq of PPS Bemina



Srinagar, May 25 -The Director General of Police (DGP), K. Rajendra Kumar today felicitated the distinguished student Ms. Kousar Mushtaq of Police Public School Bemina, hailing from Karnah, who has secured 20th position in the recently announced Matriculation results. He has also felicitated the principal, teachers and the school management for their dedicated efforts to make the school shine.
Rajendra, who is also Patron of Police Public Schools, addressing the felicitation function held in school premises, said that it was due to the dint of hard work by the students and teaching staff that the children have displayed an exemplary performance, bringing laurels to their parents and the Jammu and Kashmir Organization. The cooperation extended by the parents has also encouraged the school administration to work with more dedication, he added.
The DGP, expressing his satisfaction over the performance of the institution said that the school started its functioning some years back with primary classes and within a short period it has progressed, bringing good results and has now been upgraded to secondary level. He said that the school administration under the guidance of DIG, G. H. Bhat has been putting in place result oriented efforts to make the institution more progressive.
Rajendra said that besides the recent declared results, in which 92 per cent students of the school have qualified including the exemplary student Ms. Kousar Mushtaq, securing 94.4 percent marks, performance of the institution has remained excellent in other examinations including, professional competitions, making the Organisation to feel proud. He emphasised upon the school administration and teaching staff to work in coordination with each other to perform better as there is always a room for improvement. He said that pass percentage and performance of the students has been improving, which is encouraging and requires more dedication.
Chairperson, J&K Police Wives Welfare Association, Mrs. K.Vijaya Rajendra, who was also present at the function, congratulated the students for securing distinctions in the examination. She advised the students to keep their performance up and excel better in future examinations to make their career bright. She along with the DGP handed over cash prizes to Ms. Kouser, the Principal and the teacher with best performance.
Rajendra and Mrs. Vijaya Rajendra also congratulated Ms. Ameet Kour of class 12th of the Institutions, who has secured 13th position in the examination, the result of which declared this morning. Ms. Kour is hailing from Yechgam (Badgam) and has secured 95.6 percent marks.
Earlier, the Principal, Tazim Wahidi giving details about the academic activities of the institution said that besides infrastructural facilities, the institution upgraded its facilities and the students are being provided high-tech laboratory and other facilities. He thanked the DGP and school management for their personal intervention and support in grooming the institution.
Among others, the function was attended by ADGP (Headquarters) SP Vaid, IsGP, SMJ Geelani and AG Mir, DIG (CKR), GH Bhat, PAWWA Member Dr. Pallavi Gillani, AIG (Welfare), Rajeshwar Singh, SsP Manoj Koul and Param Veer Singh, Exn: PCD, Rashid Mustafa, staff members and other police officers.
